“Muslimat harus mengambil perannya dalam kebangkitan ekonomi Islam”, demikian pesan Ir. Muhammad Iqbal mewakili Pengurus Dewan Da’wah Pusat membuka Pelatihan Home Industri dan Motivasi bagi ibu-ibu muslimah di Aula Masjid Al-Furqan, Jakarta (Kamis, 15/3).
Melihat pertumbuhan ekonomi saat ini yang ternyata didominasi oleh para konglomerat non-muslim, muslimat harus bisa mengambil peran membangkitkan ekonomi umat walaupun hanya dengan keripik singkong. Hal ini, sebagaimana dicontohkan Rasulullah saw yang berhasil membangun ekonomi Islam dengan menguasai pasar-pasar saat berada di Madinah.
Pelatihan yang bertajuk “Berani Gagal, Berani Sukses” ini mendatangkan pemateri Ibu Muslimah, seorang pengusaha keripik singkong yang cukup sukses meraup omset ratusan juta rupiah setiap bulannya.
Motivator yang dahulunya seorang Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) di Malaysia ini membeberkan rahasia kesuksesannya berbisnis kripik singkong berlabel “Cantir”. Ia memulai usahanya hanya bermodalkan Rp50 ribu. Inspirasinya datang lantaran ia merasa orang kampung, yang juga terbiasa dengan cita rasa jajanan kampung berupa olahan singkong. Usahanya bermula dengan berjualan di kereta commuter linenya yang tadinya masih diperbolehkan, lalu dititipkan di warung-warung tradisional.
“Untuk mengembangkan usaha, akhirnya saya beranikan meminjam modal dari KUR, waktu itu dapat Rp5 juta,” katanya sambil menambahkan, selain keripik Cantir, wanita ini juga membuat jenis jajanan lainnya berbahan dasar singkong.
Di tangannya yang terampil, sisa-sisa potongan singkong tak bernilai diolah menjadi cemilan nikmat dan gurih. Wanita berkerudung ini mampu merubah jajanan ‘kampung’ menjadi cemilan trendi di Jakarta. “Saya beri nama Cantir untuk melestarikan budaya aslinya, juga agar nama yang tadinya terlalu kampungan jadi terkenal,” ujar Ibu Muslimah.
Turut hadir dalam pelatihan yang berlangsung satu hari ini, Ustadzah Andi Nuruljannah, Lc selaku Ketua Muslimat Dewan Da’wah Pusat. Dalam sambutannya, ia menjelaskan bahwa pelatihan ini merupakan salah satu program Biro Ekonomi dan UKM Muslimat Dewan Da’wah Pusat. “Pelatihan ini akan berlanjut di beberapa perwakilan Muslimat Dewan Da’wah Daerah di seluruh Indonesia salah satunya kota Medan yang menyatakan telah siap”, jelasnya. Dewan Da’wah Pusat pun telah siap memfasilitasi seandainya perwakilan daerah menghendaki pelatihan serupa.
Peserta yang berjumlah ratusan tampak cukup antusias mengikuti jalannya acara. Tidak hanya teori yang didapat, peserta juga berkesempatan praktik membuat dan mencicipi keripik singkong olahan Ibu Muslimah yang saat ini pangsa pasarnya sudah go Internasional.
